Its main ingredient is AMLA, which gives this formula its mark of quality. Certain alcohols affect the hair's texture and dry out the scalp, often causing itching. Detergents are a necessary and important part of every shampoo, but more lather does not mean better cleansing or a better product — on the contrary, quality products that protect the hair cleanse while producing only the lather that is needed.
